What this covers

This agreement governs purchases made through the bradgood.net store — Squarespace templates and the Language Switch plugin. It's separate from the Client Agreement, which covers custom design and development work booked directly with me. If you're buying a template or the plugin off the shelf, this is the agreement that applies.

Site content

Everything on this site besides what you've licensed — the design, the copy, the Brad Good name and branding — is mine. Nothing here grants you rights to reuse it beyond the specific template or plugin license you've purchased.

What you're buying

Templates. A Squarespace 7.1 template design, transferred into your own Squarespace account. You're licensing the design and any included code (including the Language Switch plugin, pre-wired) for use on one (1) live Squarespace site.

Language Switch (standalone). Sold under two license tiers:

  • Single Site ($47) — covers one (1) live Squarespace site.

  • Unlimited Sites ($87) — covers any number of Squarespace sites you own or build for clients.

Either way, you're licensing a hosted script plus your own configuration, not a file you download and own outright — it's a hosted service, so if a bug is found or Squarespace changes something that affects it, I can push a fix out to your site without you reinstalling anything (see "The hosted script" below).

Building for a client? A template purchase always covers the one site it's transferred to — templates don't have an unlimited-sites option. For the plugin, the Unlimited Sites license is built for exactly this: use it across as many client sites as you build, with nothing further to buy per client. If you hold a Single Site plugin license, each additional site still needs its own Single Site license or an upgrade to Unlimited Sites.

Upgrading from Single Site to Unlimited Sites. This isn't a separate product — email me your original receipt and I'll send you a discount code for the price difference ($40) toward the Unlimited Sites license, rather than charging you the full price again.

What you can't do

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the template files or plugin code, in original or modified form.

  • Use a template as the basis for a competing template product.

  • Share the plugin's configuration snippet or script publicly in a way that lets others bypass buying their own license.

Nothing here stops you from customizing your copy freely, or from hiring someone else to help you customize it, on the single site your license covers.

Delivery

Templates are transferred into your Squarespace account within 1 business day of purchase, once you've sent the access details requested at checkout. This is manual, done-for-you work on my end — not an instant download.

Language Switch (standalone) is delivered instantly: you'll get the setup guide and access to the hosted script immediately after purchase, no waiting on me.

The hosted script

Language Switch works by loading a script from a CDN I control, which is why a fix can reach your site without you changing anything if a bug turns up or Squarespace changes something that would otherwise break it. Practically, this means:

  • Your license covers continued access to that hosted script and its updates for as long as this product is offered.

  • If I ever discontinue or materially change the service, I'll give reasonable advance notice and a path to keep your site working (e.g., a final static version you can self-host).

  • I'm not responsible for issues caused by changes Squarespace makes to its own platform, though I'll make a good-faith effort to patch around them quickly, as I've done before.

No warranty

Templates and the plugin are provided as-is, based on the features described on their product pages at the time of purchase. I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from their use, including lost revenue or business interruption. This doesn't limit any rights you have that can't be waived under applicable law.

bradgood.net and its products are independent of Squarespace, Inc. "Squarespace" is a trademark of Squarespace, Inc. I'm a Squarespace Circle Platinum partner and Authorized Trainer, but templates and the plugin are my own products, not Squarespace's.

This site links to places I don't control — my own YouTube channel, blog articles, and occasionally third-party tools or resources. I'm not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any site I link to; you visit them at your own discretion.

Refunds

See the Refund Policy — it's short, and it's different for templates vs. the plugin because they're delivered differently.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms as the store evolves. Changes apply to purchases made after the update; they don't retroactively change the terms of something you already bought.
