Privacy Policy

Brad Good ("I," "me") operates bradgood.net. This page explains what information I collect from visitors and customers, and what I do with it.

What I collect

When you buy something. Name, email, and billing address, collected through Squarespace Commerce at checkout. Your actual payment details (card number, etc.) are handled directly by Squarespace's payment processor — I never see or store your full card information.

When you contact me or request a purchase. Whatever you put in the form: name, email, and your message, including which template or product you're asking about.

Automatically, when you browse the site. Basic analytics — pages visited, general location (country/region), device type — collected via Google Analytics, but only if you accept the "Performance and Analytics" cookie category (see Cookies below). Squarespace's own checkout and cart functionality also sets cookies needed to make purchasing work.

What I use it for

Fulfilling your order: transferring a template into your Squarespace account, or delivering the plugin's setup guide and access.
Responding to questions or support requests.
Sending purchase-related emails — receipts, delivery confirmations, setup instructions. I don't add you to a marketing list from a purchase alone.
Understanding which pages and templates people are actually interested in, so I can improve the site.
If legally required — for example, in response to a subpoena, court order, or to comply with the law.

I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone except the service providers required to run the store itself (Squarespace, and its payment processor) or if required by law.

I won't sell, rent, or trade your email address to anyone else. Right now, the only emails you'll get from me are order-related — receipts, delivery, and setup instructions. If I ever add an optional newsletter, you'll be able to opt out of it at any time.

Cookies

This site uses a cookie consent banner (Squarespace's built-in tool) so you can choose what's tracked:

Necessary — always on. Required for core site functionality: cart, checkout, and remembering your preferences. These aren't optional if you want to browse or buy.
Performance and Analytics — off unless you turn it on. Used for Google Analytics, which tells me which pages and templates people are actually interested in so I can improve the site. This data isn't tied to your name and isn't used for advertising.

Squarespace's banner template also displays an "Advertising" category by default. I don't run any advertising or retargeting cookies, so nothing is attached to that category — toggling it has no effect either way. You can change your cookie choices at any time by reopening the cookie preferences panel on this site, or by clearing your browser's cookies for bradgood.net.

Google Analytics is a third-party tool I don't control — it operates under Google's own privacy policy, not this one. I'd encourage you to review Google's policy if you want the full picture of how they handle data.

How long I keep it

Order and contact records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, and support purposes, and then as required by California and U.S. federal recordkeeping law. You can ask me to delete contact-form data that isn't tied to a completed purchase at any time.

California residents: you have rights under the CCPA to know what personal information I've collected about you, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale (I don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of). Contact me using the details below to exercise these rights.
